Steering Group
The Steering Group for the Health and Justice Learning Hub plays a key role in guiding the development, direction, and relevance of the hub’s work.
The aims (taken from our Terms of Reference) are:

Strategic Oversight
- Ensures the Learning Hub aligns with national priorities in health and justice.
- Helps shape long-term goals and themes.
2. Quality Assurance
- Promotes high standards in education and professional development.
- Encourages evaluation, feedback, and continuous improvement.
3. Representation and Voice
- Acts as a channel for different stakeholders to share insights, concerns, and innovations.
- Ensures lived experience and frontline perspectives influence decisions.
Our Partners:
North London NHS Foundation Trust
Provide mental health services into some of the prisons in London as part of a specialist sub-contract to Practice Plus Group.
Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust
Provide healthcare in London to HMP/YOI Feltham. Host the HJLH.
NHS England Health and Justice commissioners
Commission and oversee delivery of healthcare in London prisons and instigated the set up of the HJLH.
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust
Provide healthcare in London to HMP Wandsworth and HMPYOI Isis.
Practice Plus Group
Provide healthcare in London to HMP Belmarsh, HMP Brixton. HMIRC Heathrow, HMP Pentonville, HMP Thameside and HMP Wormwood Scrubs.
UserVoice
A unique ex-offender led charity who provide consultation and focus groups and bring the voice of lived experience to the group.
